With a vision to becoming a leading international soloist Aria is entertaining proposals for artist management and looking for producers for a new CD. A true performance artist, she doesn't want to be pigeon-holed. She's as able in the pop domain as in classical music and wants to use her unique vocal gift to make great music in both genres. A very capable lyricist, Aria has written several new songs while beginning work on a new single and sophomore album. The
venerable young artist released her debut album Baby Soprano at age 12,
with a challenging and solid 14-track opera repertoire and was likely the
youngest opera singer in the world at the time. A
vocal prodigy, her singing talent was discovered when she was 3 as she
naturally sang complicated lyrical pieces complete with a vibrato. At 6 she
fell in love with opera after hearing pop tenor Andrea Bocelli for the
first time. Performing publicly since age 8, she’s been delighting
audiences with her colourful soul-stirring voice, reminiscent of a

Concert with “Canada's 3
Tenors”. A
media darling, Aria has since appeared every major Canadian News and network
during the last couple years and was one of the first to invited try
out the sound stage for the new Four Seasons Opera House. Aria
has a vision using of making the world a better place with her
beautiful voice and music which is real, tender and sensitive. To date
she’s worked with Craig & Mark Keilberger to kick off their
first annual Free the Children Conference in 2007.
DETAILS: At age 3, inspired by the music in Disney and other children's movies and later at 4, by the movie musical Evita, Aria began singing complex melodies untypical for her age. Her impromptu first private solo for 60 people generated silent amazement followed by a thunderous standing ovation and comments about never having heard a toddler with a vibrato. At 5 her mother gave her roses left over from a trade show. Seeing her peeking out from under the flowers, she said, "You sure have a lot of flowers there!" to which Aria exclaimed. "Oh Mama, this is nothing!! Someday you're going to have to build a house just to hold my flowers!" At age 6 she discovered a love for opera music from hearing tenor Andrea Bocelli. Attending her first live opera Carmen at 7, on leaving she announced that she would someday sing the role of Carmen. Yet at 8 years old Aria still had difficulty learning to ride a bicycle. One day she suddenly burst into an energetic 'La Donna e Mobile' and finally began riding for the first time unassisted. She named one of her rabbits Puccini after her favorite composer. Her voice and presence elicits a very powerful and joyful emotional response from men, women and young people of all ages in her audiences. In August 2003 she was featured at the Festa di San Gabriele, an Italian Community Event attended by over 5,000 people where her Ave Maria and Vissi D'Arte visibly moved many in the audience. To date she has sung popular opera arias in several concerts featured with "Canada's 3 Tenors - Andrea Garofalo, Peter Marino, Mitch Seekins & Charles DiRaimondo, arranged by Mr. Rino Ianone. Aria opened Canada Day celebrations for the City of Toronto in both 2003 & 2005 singing for up to 20,000 people and in 2007 for 44,000 at the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball game. Aria began studying opera at 7 with Gofreddo Ricci, from Rome, Italy, coach trainer for opera singers from the Canadian Opera Company & Mississauga Opera Company. After his death in 2003 she began studying with Professor Marat Maxutov, an exceptional vocal trainer from Russia, who has excellent knowledge of voice physiology for young people. Aria is of Northern Italian descent, fluent in French and English, sings in 5 languages and lives in Canada. |
